Fees and Subsidies

Parent fees are reviewed on an annual basis and parents receive thirty days notice of any increase in fees. Fees are payable at the beginning of each month to The Child Care Centre in Cloverdale and receipts are issued at year end for income tax purposes.

There are no rebates or reduction for unused days of care for any reason including statutory holidays, family holidays or absence due to illness. There is also no fee reduction for siblings. A non-refundable administrative fee of $50 per child is required at time of registration. If applicable, your waitlist application deposit will be used to cover this registration.

Child Care Subsidy is available for qualifying parents. For a basic screening to see if you may qualify for subsidy, complete the On-line Child Care Subsidy Eligibility Evaluator. Government subsidies for eligible clients are available from the Ministry for Children and Families. You can determine if you may be eligible for a subsidy by completing the On-line Child Care Subsidy Eligibility Evaluator.


To apply for Child Care Subsidy

Please call the Child Care Help Line at 1-888-338-6622 and ask for an Application and Guide. The Application and Guide may also be picked up at a Child Care Resource and Referral office, a Service BC - Government Agents office, or an Immigrant Settlement Services Agency.

Parents with subsidy arrangements are responsible for making and keeping appointments with the subsidy office before their subsidy expires. Parents must also contact the subsidy office to inform them of their child's withdrawal date from the Centre.
