To find out if there is a space available, please contact us.
Is there a waiting list
Yes, we keep a waiting list when our programs are full. Please contact us
regarding space availability.
How long do you have to wait on the waiting list?
The wait could be sooner or longer depending on a few factors. These factors include your status on the waiting list, your child's birth date, your application date, whether you would like full time or part time, which days in the week for the part time enrolment, and the space we have available at our centre.
How do I register for a child care space at one of your programs?
The quickest and most efficient way is to either register on-line or to fill out the Waitlist form. Both require to mail us with the $50/child waitlist application fee . When a space becomes available we will call you to set up a personal interview.
Method of Payment?
We accept Cash, Money order or Check(s). Please make your check(s) payable to cccic and write your child name in the memo. DO NOT send cash by mail.
How / when will I know if I do have a space?
We will call you. If you have a change in your phone number, address or care requirements please let us know as soon as possible.
Do you accept subsidy?
Yes, once you receive a spot at the centre, you may apply to the government for subsidy.
What is the CCCIC Withdrawal policy
One-month notice from the first of the month is required prior to withdrawing a child from the CCCIC. If sufficient notice is not given, payment for the corresponding period is required. If the CCCIC is able to fill the space prior to the end of the notice period, the parent will have the choice to withdraw earlier with no financial penalty. Withdrawal must be done in person and will not be accepted over the phone. Withdrawal must be done at the CCCIC office and not with the teacher.
Do you offer pick up / drop off to schools?
We serve the following schools for before and after school care program: Cloverdale Catholic School (CCS) and Cloverdale Traditional School (CTS).
My child was bitten by another at the day care centre. Does that happen frequently?
Even with every precaution, injuries still happen in day care centres. By nature, children are very active, and some may be aggressive or anxious. They may push, shove or even bite another child in the playroom.
Children in day care centres often bite, but most bites are harmless and don't break the skin. Surveys have shown that up to half of all children in day care centres were bitten during a one-year period. Most bites happened in September at the beginning of the day care year.
Toddlers (age 13 to 24 months) were bitten most frequently. Bites were most often to the arms and the face. Only one bite in 50 (2%) broke the skin. No child had to be taken to the doctor because of a bite.
Is there a risk that the bite wound might become infected?
Only rarely do wounds from human bites become infected, and these infections usually result from fights among adults. Severe bites are unusual in day care centres and almost never lead to bacterial infections.
