CCCIC x SFU Venturelabs Housewarming

CCCIC is a BC-based seed stage investment fund and innovation centre which focuses on clean-tech, energy, health tech, enterprise software and internet companies that have high growth prospects and Asian market expansion potential. We are proud to be partnered with Simon Fraser University VentureLabs in facilitating the China to Canada Commercialization & Acceleration Network(C2CAN).

The goal of the housewarming is to create a platform which  bring together local startup community and international investors, and to let Vancouver learn more about the “new kid on the block”.

The event was held at Harbour Centre on August 8th, 2016.




CCCIC President, William Li, gave a opening speech at the event and introduced CCCIC’s role in the Vancouver community, highlighting the importance of establishing an efficient platform to bridge the gap between capital and technology in both countries.


Sponsor of the event, Executive Director of VentureLabs, Ian Hand also gave welcome remarks and announced the agenda of the 1st annual C2CAN trip that facilitates international soft landing visits for Canadian and Chinese startups to build business relationships and opportunities and connect with customers, partners and investors.

IMG_0030The housewarming event welcomed  over 20 companies ranging from IoT, data mining, intelligent building management, software, medical device, wireless charging, bioplastic, and more. After the speakers’ session, startup founders, entrepreneurs were given a chance to give a short pitch to all the investors at the event.
